Gwen H. Haas, MD, FAAFP, attended McMaster University School of Medicine, now Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, in Hamilton, and received her medical degree in 1984. Furthermore, she conducted her family medicine residency at Hamilton General Hospital in Hamilton, ON, Canada (1984-1987).  In addition, Dr. Haas received board certification in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine. And she remains at the forefront of her challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. Moreover, Dr. Haas attained fellowship of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In addition to her medical degree, she completed her undergrad education at York University in Toronto, ON, followed by her MA degree in Human Development acquired at The University of Chicago in 1977.
